Clinical Pathways
A connected continuum of addiction care — medical detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and dual diagnosis — refined over 21 years on our 67-bed Orange County campus.
Medical Detox
Typically 3 to 7 days under 24-hour medical supervision. Our withdrawal management protocols were co-developed with UCI Health emergency medicine and updated annually against current ASAM guidelines. Medication-assisted treatment options — buprenorphine and naltrexone for opioid dependence, structured benzodiazepine tapers, continuous vitals monitoring — allow residents to move into clinical work physically stable, not white-knuckling through the first week.
Residential Treatment
30 to 90 days at our 67-bed Tustin Street campus. Days follow a balanced-recovery rhythm — equal time for clinical sessions, physical movement, creative-expression therapies, and reflective time. Family-restoration intensives run every Saturday morning with spouse, parent, and adult-child tracks running in parallel. Length of stay is matched to clinical need, not to insurance benefit caps.
Outpatient Programs (PHP & IOP)
Partial hospitalization (PHP, 2 to 4 weeks at 5 to 6 hours daily) and intensive outpatient (IOP, 8 to 12 weeks at 9 to 12 hours weekly) allow residents to continue working at home and on the job. Our evening cohort runs Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9 PM, accommodating working professionals across Orange County. Telehealth IOP available for residents bridging from north OC or the Inland Empire.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
For residents whose substance use sits alongside PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar conditions, grief reactions, or psychiatric medication histories that need careful re-evaluation. A single integrated team treats both conditions together — medication management, trauma-focused CBT, neurofeedback, and family-systems work layered into your residential or outpatient pathway.
